New vice president, vice editor-in-chief of Xinhua appointed

The State Council, China's cabinet, appointed a new vice president and vice editor-in-chief for Xinhu News Agency on Wednesday.

Liu Siyang was appointed Xinhua's vice president and Zhou Zongmin was appointed vice editor-in-chief.

Other senior officials being appointed included Liu Zhiqiang as vice minister of justice, Sun Ruibiao as vice director of State Administration of Taxation, Fang Jianmeng and Sun Shuxian as vice directors of State Oceanic Administration. Endi
