China, Thailand vow to further promote military ties

Xinhua, January 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

China and Thailand on Tuesday vowed to improve military relations and cooperation in areas such as training and defense industry.

The pledge was made during a meeting between China's Defense Minister Chang Wanquan and visiting Chief of the Royal Thai Army General Teerachai Nakwanich.

Chang hailed cooperation between the two armed forces in recent years, especially in joint training. He said the People's Liberation Army attached great importance to the relationship with Thai armed forces.

Teerachai said Thailand cherishes bilateral cooperation in joint training and defense industry and wishes to further cooperation in various fields. Endi
