Xinhua, January 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

Corinthians are close to signing former Argentina international midfielder Sebastian Blanco, according to media reports in Brazil.

The Sao Paulo-based outfit have offered Argentine club San Lorenzo three million euros for the 27-year-old's signature, the Uol news portal said on Monday.

Blanco, who has been capped twice for the Albiceleste, joined San Lorenzo from West Bromwich Albion last year for two million euros.

Corinthians are also considering a move for Colombia international striker Teofilo Gutierrez.

The 27-year-old joined Sporting Lisbon last July from Argentine giants River Plate. Endit
