Real Madrid to buy Boca Juniors midfielder

Xinhua, January 24, 2016 Adjust font size:

Boca Juniors have agreed to sell highly rated teenager Rodrigo Betancur to Real Madrid, according to media reports.

But Betancur is unlikely to arrive at the Bernabeu until at least July as the Buenos Aires outfit negotiate a deal to take the 18-year-old back on loan.

Real Madrid are also said to be in advanced talks for German midfielder Leroy Sane and Swiss left-back Ricardo Rodriguez.

Betancur has made 18 first-team appearances and scored one goal since arriving at Boca Junior in January.

He has represented his native Uruguay at under-age level. Endit
