The Serie A announced on Thursday that Maurizio Sarri, manager of Napoli, would be suspended for two matches in Coppa Italia due to his discrimination speech against homoerotism in the public. Meanwhile, he was fined 20000 euros.

In the quarterfinal of Coppa Italia against Inter Milan, Sarri ran into a bitter quarrel with Inter's manager Roberto Mancini. It is reported that Saarri used certain words which convey discrimination against homoerotism. The Italian press reported that Sarri might be suspended for four months.

Mancini was also fined 5000 euros for verbal attack on Sarri and disrespect for the fourth official. Endit
