Hong Kong stocks close 2.9 pct higher

Hong Kong stocks moved up 538.36 points, or 2.9 percent, to close at 19,080.51 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 18,769.61 and 19,152.8. Turnover totaled 89.9 billion HK dollars (about 11.5 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
