Xinhua, January 21, 2016 Adjust font size:

China has condemned Wednesday morning's terrorist attack on a university in northwest Pakistan that left at least 22 dead and over 40 others injured.

"China resolutely opposes attacks on innocent civilians," said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei at a daily news briefing on Thursday.

"We will support Pakistan in fighting terrorism and maintaining national stability and its people's safety," said Hong.

Four people wearing suicide vests and armed with hand grenades and automatic guns attacked students at Bacha Khan University in the city of Charsadda. Militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility. Endi
