Dollar changes hands in lower 117 yen zone early Tokyo deals

TOKYO, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 117 yen zone early Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.16-17 yen compared with 116.86-96 yen in New York and 116.77-79 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.0874-0876 dollars and 127.41-42 yen against 1.0883-0893 dollars and 127.33-43 yen in New York and 1.0940-0941 dollars and 127.75-79 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endit
