Inter Milan terminates contract with Vidic

Xinhua, January 19, 2016 Adjust font size:

F.C. Internazionale made an official statement in its website that the Serbian defender Nemanja Vidic and the club have agreed to terminate his contract, which means he is now available in the transfer market and he can transfer to any club without a fee.

The 34-year-old move to Inter in 2014 on free transfer, signing a two-year contract with an annual pay of 3.5 million euros.

The Serbian defender is continually troubled by injuries this season and didn't play a single game.

According to the statement on Inter's official website, the Serbian defender moved to Inter in July 2014 and made 28 appearances last season, scoring once.

Starting career in F.C. Crvena Zvezda, Vidic reached his peak in Manchester United, where he won five Barclay' s league champions and a UCL title.

According to Football ITALIA, Vidic would probably move to Washington D.C. United in MLS. Erick Thohir, the boss of F.C. Internazionale, is also a share holder of the American club. Endit
