Dollar at lower 117 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 117 yen zone Monday in early Tokyo trading.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.05-13 yen compared with 117.05-15 yen in New York and 117.62-65 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.0917-0918 dollars and 127.78-81 yen against 1.0913-0923 dollars and 127.58-68 yen in New York and 1.0868-0869 dollars and 127.84-88 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endit
