Unidentified gunmen kidnapped three Americans in Baghdad, an Iraqi news agency reported on Sunday.
The three Americans, who worked as military trainers, were at the house of a translator in the southern district of Doura, Baghdad, when a group of gunmen wearing military uniforms stormed the house and took them away, NINA quoted unnamed sources as saying.

KHARTOUM -- The UN-African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) expressed concern over the fighting between the Sudanese army and armed groups in Central Darfur State on Sunday.
"UNAMID is deeply concerned about ongoing fighting between government forces and armed movements in the Jebel Marra area, Central Darfur, near the Mission's Nertiti team site," it said in a statement. (Sudan-Fighting)

WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Barack Obama on Sunday hailed the full implementation of an international nuclear accord with Iran and the release of Americans held prisoner in the Islamic republic as a vindication of "strong American diplomacy."

KABUL -- Casualties were feared Sunday night as a rocket fired by militants struck a residential home to apartment buildings near the Afghan capital's diplomatic district, sources and witnesses said.
