Dollar in mid-117 yen range in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-117 yen zone in early trading on Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.42-43 yen compared with 117.61-71 yen in New York and 118.21-23 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro meanwhile fetched 1.0885-0886 dollars and 127.81-83 yen against 1.0872-0882 dollars and 127.93-128.03 yen in New York and 1.0815-0817 dollars and 127.85-89 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endit
