Urgent: Pakistan condemns attack on consulate in Afghanistan

Pakistan strongly condemned a terrorist attack on its Consulate General in Jalalabad of eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday.

"We strongly condemn the terrorist attack on the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jalalabad this morning," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Pakistan has asked the Afghan government to thoroughly investigate this incident which left seven people dead, and bring the culprits to justice, it added. Enditem
