Dollar trades in upper 117 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 117 yen level early Tuesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.69-70 yen compared with 117.70-80 yen in New York at 5 p.m.

The euro fetched 1.0856-0857 dollars and 127.76-78 yen against 1.0854-0864 dollars and 127.74-84 yen in New York late Monday afternoon.

The forex market in Tokyo was closed on Monday for a national holiday. Enditem
