Dollar changes hands in mid-117 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the mid-117 yen level in Tokyo early Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.53-63 yen compared with 117.63-73 yen in New York and 118.01-03 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.0924-0926 dollars and 128.40-42 yen against 1.0925-0935 dollars and 128.54-64 yen in New York and 1.0783-0784 dollars and 127.25-29 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
