Myanmar state-owned airline to spread wing to Chiang Mai, Bangkok

tate-owned Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) will extend its wing to Chiang Mai and Bangkok in February with a newly arrived-airplane, airline sources said Thursday.

The new ATR plane which is the second ATR, out of six ordered from ATR company, would be used in flying to local and foreign destinations.

The rest are expected to arrive in 2016 and 2017.

MNA will operate a daily service from Yangon to Bangkok starting Jan.28.

The country's oldest airline founded in 1948 carried out reforms last year, expanding regional and foreign destinations. Enditem
