A massive fire broke out in the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial hospital in India's financial hub Mumbai on Monday evening, local media reported.

At least five fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and the fire has been put under control. Rescue operation has also been initiated.

However, the majority of patients have been shifted out to ensure their safety. As of now, no casualties have been reported, though a massive loss to property is expected.
