Regular direct flight to open between Croatia and ROK

Xinhua, December 31, 2015 Adjust font size:

Croatia and the Republic of Korea (ROK) will start a regular direct flight between the two countries, which aimed at further increasing the number of Korean visitors to Croatia, Croatian Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

An agreement on civil aviation was signed and it would facilitate the establishment of a regular direct flight between the two countries, according to the ministry.

ROK has become Croatia's most dynamic source of tourists from outside Europe in the past few years.

More than 300,000 Koreans visited Croatia in the first 10 months of this year, and more than 350,000 Koreans are expected to visit Croatia by the end of the year, according to the ministry. Enditem
