LME base metals close higher on Tuesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Tuesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 66.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.42 percent, to 4,742 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 4 U.S. dollars, or 0.26 percent, to 1,545 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 37 U.S. dollars, or 2.14 percent, to 1,768 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 53.5 U.S. dollars, or 3.44 percent, to 1,606.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 140 U.S. dollars, or 1.63 percent, to 8,735 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 87.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.60 percent, to 14,700 U.S. dollars a tonne. Enditem
