Man arrested 21 years after murdering 4

Xinhua, December 28, 2015 Adjust font size:

A man from east China's Shandong Province has been arrested for killing a family of four people 21 years ago, local police said.

The suspect, surnamed Jia, murdered a couple and their two teenage daughters in the provincial capital of Jinan on May 5, 1994, before fleeing.

The Jinan police kept sending orders for arrest and Jia's full face photos to crime investigation departments at various levels around the country for the past 21 years, and sent policemen to other cities to verify clues.

On Nov. 20, police in central province of Henan reported a clue related to a suspect, who was later confirmed by Jinan police as Jia.

The police said Jia had confessed his crime. He was arrested for suspected intentional homicide. Endi
