LME base metals close higher on Monday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Monday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 62 U.S. dollars, or 1.33 percent, to 4,736 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 21 U.S. dollars, or 1.40 percent, to 1,523 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 45.5 U.S. dollars, or 2.72 percent, to 1,717.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 20 U.S. dollars, or 1.32 percent, to 1,536 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 132.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.51 percent, to 8,895 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 25 U.S. dollars, or 0.17 percent, to 14,675 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
