The number of vehicles manufactured from January to November in Spain rose by 13.49 percent when compared with the same period of a year earlier, the Association of Car Manufacturers (ANFAC) reported on Monday.
Spanish factories manufactured a total of 2,551,688 vehicles in the first 11 months, and 256,709 in November alone, which meant 21.42 percent more when compared with the same month of a year earlier manufacturing more than 12,000 vehicles per day.
ANFAC said that exports to Asian countries and European countries had influenced the rise in production, which will help reach the goal for the year which is to manufacture 2.6 million vehicles.
Exports rose by 17.6 percent in November year-on-year to a total of 217,451 units, while in the first 11 months of the year exports reached 2,120,634 units, 11.4 percent more than in the same period of a year earlier.
Spain's vehicles organizations had reported in early December that sales had risen by 20.9 percent in Spain in the first 11 months of the year when compared with the same period of a year earlier indicating that sales would reach 1 million this year. Endit
