Chinese shares close mixed Monday

China's stocks closed mixed on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.77 percent to close at 3,642.47 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index climbed 1.54 percent to close at 13,028.31 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.01 percent to close at 2,829.92 points. Endi
