Spanish stock market rises 1.72 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.72 percent on Thursday to close at 9,878.50 points, up from the 9,711 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Caixabank shares led rises climbing 2.88 percent, followed by IAG, Banco Santander, Inditex, Mediaset and Gamesa that gained 2.64 percent, 2.55 percent, 2.43 percent, 2.35 percent and 2.13 percent respectively.

On the other hand, FCC shares led falls losing 3.34 percent, followed by Sacyr, ArcelorMittal, DIA, Tecnicas Reunidas and Enagas that lost 1.91 percent, 1.43 percent, 0.95 percent, 0.61 percent and 0.42 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 116.60 points, rising slightly from the 111.20 points of Wednesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.7 percent, showing no differences when compared with Wednesday. Endit
