Vietnam's U23 ties Cerezo Osaka 2-2 in soccer friendly

Vietnam's U23 national soccer team tied with Cerezo Osaka of Japan 2-2 in a friendly game here on Thursday.

The Japanese side scored in the 21st minute before Vietnam leveled 1-1 three minutes later.

Cerezo Osaka went ahead again in the 65th minute, only to find Vietnam make it 2-2 in the 70th minute.

The Vietnamese U23 players were preparing for the AFC U-23 Championship, which is to be held in Qatar in 2016. Endi
