The doctor who caused Olympic champion swimmer Park Tae-hwan to fail a doping test was fined on Thursday, Yonhap reported.

The Seoul Central District Court ordered the doctor, a 46-year-old surnamed Kim, to pay a fine of 1 million won (850 U.S. dollars) for failing to leave records of injecting Park with Nebido, which contains testosterone, a substance banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, according to Yonhap.

Park, men's 400-meter freestyle winner at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, is serving an 18-month ban that ends in March next year. Endi
