Xinhua, December 16, 2015 Adjust font size:

A Police officer opened fire on a car after its driver tried to push his way though a museum in central Paris on Wednesday, but no casualty has been reported, local media reported.

According to preliminary investigation, a man refused to respond to police instruction to stop his cars. He attempted to enter by force to the Invalides military museum, and a policeman had to fire at the vehicle to halt it, the news channel BFMTV said.

The driver has been arrested and placed into custody, it added.
