China's policies toward foreign investment will not change: Xi

Xinhua, December 16, 2015 Adjust font size:

Chinese President Xi Jinping vowed to keep China's door open to the outside world and that the country's policies toward foreign investment will not change on Wednesday.

Xi made the remarks when addressing the opening ceremony of the Second World Internet Conference (WIC) in the river town of Wuzhen in east China's Zhejiang Province.

The robust growth of the country's Internet services has provided a big market for enterprises and entrepreneurs from all countries, he said.

The protection of legitimate rights and interests of foreign-invested enterprises will not change and the direction of providing better services to foreign companies in China will not change, Xi said.

"As long as they abide by China's laws, we warmly welcome enterprises and entrepreneurs from all countries to invest and do business in China," Xi said. Endi
