Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks closed higher on Tuesday as brisk buying seen across European markets boosted investor confidence ahead of the two-day Fed rate-setting meeting.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,320.44, 170.09 points or 0.86 percent up from previous close of 25,150.35, with a turnover of 436.17 crore rupees (about 65.1 million US dollars). Endit
