President Xi Jinping received the credentials of ten new ambassadors to China in Beijing on Monday.

The ambassadors are Tania Serafim Yvonne Romualdo from Cape Verde; Ina Marciulionyte from Lithuania; Janez Premoze from Slovenia; Marja Rislakki from Finland; Dang Minh Khoi from Vietnam; Roberto Jaguaribe from Brazil; Karunasena Kodituwakku from Sri Lanka; Fernando Lugris from Uruguay; Carlson D. Apis from the Federated States of Micronesia; and Heriberto Quispe Charca from Bolivia.

Xi welcomed the ambassadors to their posts and asked them to convey his greetings to the leaders and people of their countries.

China will continue to consolidate traditional friendships, strengthen political mutual trust, and expand cooperation and cultural exchanges with the countries, Xi said.

China will support the ambassadors' work, Xi said, calling on them to make positive contributions to the development of bilateral ties and people's friendship.

The ambassadors conveyed greetings from their state leaders to Xi and hailed China's development achievements and its important role in international affairs.

They vowed to contribute to stronger ties between their countries and China during their tenure. Endit
