Vice Premier Liu Yandong on Monday called on medical workers to contribute more to the building of a "healthy" country.

Liu was speaking during an event to mark the 100th anniversary of founding of the Chinese Medical Association (CMA).

The CMA is a non-profit registered academic and commonweal corporate body voluntarily made up of Chinese medical science and technology professionals.
