Profile: Kyrgyz Prime Minister Temir Sariyev

Kyrgyz Prime Minister Temir Sariyev will take part in the two-day 14th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) prime ministers' meeting starting on Monday in the central Chinese city of Zhengzhou, and then pay an official visit to China.
During his four-day stay in China, Sariyev will also attend the Second World Internet Conference (WIC), which is scheduled to be held from Wednesday to Friday in the river town of Wuzhen in east China's Zhejiang Province.
The following is a profile of the Kyrgyz prime minister:
Sariyev, born in the northern Kyrgyz province of Chuy in June 1963, was a graduate of economics at Kyrgyz National University.
He served successively as finance minister, minister of economy and anti-monopoly policy, and vice prime minister before taking up the post of prime minister this May, two weeks after his predecessor, Joomart Otorbayev, announced his resignation.
Last month, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev signed a bill on the reappointment of Sariyev as prime minister of the Central Asian country. Endi
