France on Saturday delivered the final text of a global agreement on climate change to participants of the marathon climate talks in Paris.

ATHENS -- Greece's government struck on Friday evening a deal with auditors of international lenders in Athens on the next set of measures to unlock a further one billion euro (about 1.1 billion U.S. dollars) bailout installment to the debt laden country in coming weeks.

SEOUL -- South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Saturday ended their vice ministers' talks without any agreement, according to Seoul's unification ministry.

DAMASCUS -- At least eight people were killed and 25 others wounded in a car bomb attack in Syria's central city of Homs on Saturday, just days after a deal ended the rebel existence in their last stronghold west of Homs, state news agency SANA reported.
A booby-trapped car tore through the pro-government al-Zahra'a neighborhood of Homs, an area that has seen several bombings as it's home to the Alawite minority, an offshoot of Shiism, to whom the ruling elite in Syria belongs. (Syria-Car Bomb Attack)

TRIPOLI -- Libya's two rival parliaments announced on Friday that Dec. 16 is the date to sign the final peace agreement.
