Flight links Chengdu, Paris

Air China on Saturday launched a non-stop flight linking Paris with Chengdu, an air hub in southwest China.

The 11-hour flight, scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, uses a wide-body Airbus A330.

Local officials hope the new service will help improve trade and cultural exchanges between Europe and southwest China.

It was also launched to meet booming demand for tourism in southwest China. Endi
