Russia's Stolbova, Klimov win pairs gold at GP Final

Russia's Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov socred a personal best result in the free programme to claim pairs gold for the first time in the ISU (The international skating union ) Grand Prix Final of figure skating on Friday.

   The Olympic silver medallists totalled 229.44 for the title, thanks to the second best score ever of 154.60 they got in the free programme.

   World champions Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford of Canada, the defending champions, finished second despite a personal best of 143.93 in the free skate and 216.67 overall.

   Russia's Yuko Kavaguti and Alexander Smirnov took bronze with scores of 132.95 in free programme and 206.59 in total.  Endi
