Bayern's Ribery, Benatia to miss last three games of the year

Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery and Medhi Benatia will be out of action until the end of the year, the German giants confirmed via the club's official homepage on Friday.

   Just after returning from an injury spells, Ribery and Benatia sustained new injuries during the 2-0 UEFA Champions League victory over Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday.

   Bayern's club doctor Volker Braun diagnosed both players with muscle injuries. Hence, Ribery as well as Benatia will be sideline for the remaining three games before the winter break. "We have again lost two important players," Bayern coach Josep Guardiola said. 

   Frenchman Franck Ribery returned just on Saturday from a nine-month injury break meanwhile Morocco international Medhi Benatia suffered his eighth muscle injury since his arrival from Italian side A.S. Roma in the summer 2014.

   The "Bavarians" clash with newly promoted Ingolstadt at the 16th round of Bundesliga on Saturday.  Endi
