Dollar in upper 121 range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 121 yen zone in early trading on Friday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 121.69-70 yen compared with 121.50-60 yen in New York and 121.75-76 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro meanwhile fetched 1.0946-0947 dollars and 133.21-22 yen against 1.0937-0947 dollars and 132.95-133.05 yen in New York and 1.0996-0997 dollars and 133.88-92 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
