Three bombings rocked Syria's northeastern province of al-Hasakah on Thursday, leaving 15 people killed and 90 others wounded, pan-Arab al-Mayadeen TV reported.
The bombings were caused by three booby-trapped vehicles that tore through the predominantly-Assyrian town of Tal Tamir in the western countryside of al-Hasakah, said the report.
It added that women and children were among those killed.
Meanwhile, the oppositional Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the three bombings were carried out by explosive-laden fuel tankers, adding that huge property losses were caused by the explosions.
Following the explosions, the town has witnessed a state of alarm, according to the UK-based watchdog group.
No party has claimed responsibility for the bombings, but the attacks bore the hallmark of the Islamic State (IS), which previously attacked Tal Tamir and committed atrocities. Endit
