Indian stocks snapped their six-session losing streak on Thursday after a surge in buying of beaten-down stocks like Reliance Industries, Vedanta.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,252.32, 216.27 points or 0.86 percent up from previous close of 25,036.05, with a turnover of 415.01 crore rupees (about 62.1 million US dollars). Endit
