Senior CPC official meets U.S. think tank representatives

Xinhua, December 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

Liu Qibao, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, called on the think tanks of China and U.S. to strengthen communication on Thursday.

Liu, who is also head of the publicity department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks while meeting with a delegation of U.S. think tanks, including representatives from the Brookings Institution, National Committee on United States-China Relations, Carnegie-Tsinghua Center For Global Policy, Harvard University and other institutions.

Win-win cooperation is the surest path to building a new-type of major-country relations between China and U.S., Liu said.

Both sides expressed their willingness to deepen research cooperation on issues of common concern and promoting mutual understanding and trust.
