Brazilian midfielder Melo suffers injury

Xinhua, December 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

Inter Milan midfielder Felipe Melo got a head injury after a clash with his teammate in a 1-0 home win against Genoa in Italian Serie A on Saturday.

He clashed with Chilean star Gary Medel during the first half and was replaced after reporting he felt dizzy.

He couldn't remember anything about the incident, Melo told the reporters before he was sent to hospital for scans.

Inter, with Danilo D'Ambrosio sent off late for a second bookable offence, still held on to claim the victory and go two points clear at the top of Serie A although Napoli will restore their one-point lead with a win at Bologna on Sunday.  Endi
