"The Martian" tops China's box office sales

American adventure-fantasy "The Martian" dominated China's box offices in the week ending Nov. 29, earning 310 million yuan (48.5 million U.S. dollars) after opening on Nov. 25.
"Our Times," a rom-com from Taiwan, earned 148 million yuan, coming in second in the week. The film was released Nov. 19.
The third spot went to "The Transporter Refueled," with 47 million yuan in the week, China Film News reported Friday. The crime-thriller was released in Chinese theaters on Nov. 20.
"The Vanished Murderer," a domestic action film, earned 40 million yuan in the week after opening on Nov. 27 to land in fourth place.
Rounding out the top five was "Spectre," the new James Bond movie, which has lost a bit of its shine after ruling in the previous two weeks. The film, which debuted on Nov. 13, took in only 38.6 million yuan in the seven days. Endi
