Urgent: Pentagon to open all combat jobs to women for first time: Carter

U.S. defense chief Ash Carter said on Thursday the U.S. military would open all combat jobs to women.

Carter's announcement was a flat rejection of Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Joseph Dunford's previous remarks which argued that the U.S. Marines should be allowed to keep women out of certain front-line combat jobs. Endit
