Hungarian official confirms Paris attacks suspect once recruits team in Budapest

One of the main organizers of the Paris attacks on Nov. 13 came to Budapest's Keleti railway station, recruited team from migrants stranded there, and left Hungary with them, Hungarian government office chief told a news conference here on Thursday.

Hungary's secret services had no information at that time and they received information from partner organizations later, Janos Lazar added.

About 230,000 people passed through Hungary without control, Lazar said. He considered it dangerous.

According to Hungarian News Agency MTI, Belgian RTL's online reported on Wednesday that Salah Abdeslam, one of the organizers and participants in the Paris terrorist attacks may have met in Hungary two men who, after returning from Syria, blew themselves up during the attacks. Endit
