Dollar changes hands at lower 123 yen level in early Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 123 yen level in early Tokyo deals Thursday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.25-33 yen compared with 123.19-29 yen in New York and 123.05-07 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.0610-0611 dollars and 130.76-78 yen against 1.0610-0620 dollars and 130.76-86 yen in New York and 1.0626-0627 dollars and 130.76-80 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Enditem
