Sixers cruise past Lakers for first season win

The Philadelphia Sixers stole the spotlight on Kobe Bryant's final game at his hometown as the Sixers beat the Los Angeles Lakers 103-91 on Tuesday night, snapping their 18 losing streak.

   The Sixers had lost overall 28 games dating to last season, which is the longest losing streak in the history of major professional sports in the United States. It was the first win for the Sixers since March 25 at Denver.

   Kobe scored 20 points on 7-of-26 shooting and made 4 three-pointers. Jordan Clarkson had 19. Julius Randle and D'Angelo Russell added 12 apiece for the Lakers.

   Robert Covington scored 23 points and Jerami Grant had 14 for the Sixers. Jahlil Okafor and Isaiah Canaan finished with 12 points each.  Endi
