Man City beat Hull for English League Cup semis

Manchester City beat Hull 4-1 to reach the English League Cup semifinals on Tuesday, while Everton and Stoke also advanceed with victories against second-division clubs.

   Wilfried Bony helped City take an early lead, converting the rebound after Kevin De Bruyne's shot from distance hit the post.

   Kelechi Iheanacho tapped in from close range, before a quick-fire double by De Bruyne. Andrew Robertson got a consolation goal for Hull at last minute.   

   Everton won 2-0 at Middlesbrough and Stoke defeated Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 to reach the semifinals for the first time since it won the competition in 1972.  

   In the last quarterfinal, Liverpool will travel to Southampton on Wednesday.  Endi
