Syrians detained in Honduras to be released on bail

Five Syrians arrested in Honduras for carrying stolen passports will be released on bail on Wednesday, a court in the capital city of Tegucigalpa ordered on Tuesday.

The Syrians are not allow to leave the country and will have to appear in court again on Feb. 22, said Ian Quiroz, a human rights representative and defender of the detained Syrians.

The five Syrians from Homs, aged between 21 and 30, were arrested on Nov. 18 and have been in jail ever since. Endi
