CBA roundup: Xinjiang, Guangdong extend winning streak

Xinjiang claimed an easy home victory over Shandong 103-81, extending its winning streak to 11 games in the eleventh round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League on Sunday.
Xinjiang's Zhou Qi led the team with 23 points and 18 rebounds, Andrew Goudelock had 19 points, Li Gen scored 17 points and Yu Changdong and Liu Wei combined for 25 points.
Guangdong extended its winning streak to five games as they beat Aolong 107-85. The foreign trio of Aolong combined for 60 pionts. However, five players of Guangdong scored double-digits and Yi Jianlian scored a match-high 29 points.
Guangdong took a 24-4 run in the beginning of the game. In the second period, the foreign trio of Aolong scored successive three-pointers and narrowed the gap to three points. Li Xuesong made one of two free throws for a 50-49 Aolong lead in the beginning of third period but Will Bynum's shot made Guangdong lead again, which never trailed after that.
The defending champions Beijing claimed a 109-104 road victory and ended Shanxi's three-game winning streak. Beijing's Sun Yue had a team-high 23 points, including 7 three-pointers, Randolph Morris finished with 22 points and 9 boards, Zhai Xiaochuan had 20 points, Stephon Marbury contributed 13 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists.
Jordan Crawford scored 50 points, not enough for Tianjin to grab a victory as they lost to Liaoning 129-105. Six players of Liaoning scored double-digits and Shavlik Randolph had a double-double of 29 points and 17 rebounds.
Elsewhere, Guangsha thrashes Shenzhen 120-96, Zhejiang edged Sichuan 116-114, Jiangsu beat Bayi 79-76, Qingdao overwhelmed Jilin 114-101, Shanghai defeated Tongxi 110-103 and Foshan were 130-126 winners over Fujian. Endi
