Substitute help Jiangsu snatch CFA Cup

Jiangsu Sainty defeated Shanghai Greenland 1-0 here Sundy to grab the CFA Cup in away soil. They entered next years AFC Champions League as the winner of the Cup. 

   The two sides tied 0-0 in their first game one week ago in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. Sainty's boss had promised a reward over 20 million yuans (about 3.12 million dollars) to encourage his players to win. 

   Cao Yunding almost broke the deadlock in the 35th minute, his powerful shot from an accurate pass from Giovanni Moreno went high.

   Sainty answered Greenland's fierce offence 7 minutes later, Vidar Kjartansson broke loose but his shot was denied by Li Jianbin's slide tackle.

   Demba Ba missed the last-gasp goal in the 85th minute, which throw the two teams into extra time.

   Substitute Sammir played a wall pass with anther substitution Sergio Escudero on the edge of the Greenland box and continued his run into the area before poking the ball past goalkeeper Geng Xiaofeng in the 110th minute.

   Jiangsu will take part in the 2016 AFC Champions League with other three teams from the Chinese Super League, including Shandong Luneng, Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou Evergrande.  Endi
